The dialog contains overall values used by WinSwim during normal operation.
These values can be changed to configure the way WinSwim works.

The meet wizard used to assist in the meet steps will be

Prompt before updating database
|
Updates to the database in grid controls will prompt
before updating the database. |
Rebuild queries when opening database
|
Some stored procedures (i.e. queries) are contained
within the database. These queries will be regenerated when
opening the database. This is recommended after installing major
and minor updates. |
Compress database on close
|
The database will be automatically compressed that will
save disk space when the database is closed. |
Show Tip of Day
|
A tip is shown when WinSwim starts. |
Verify tables and fields when opening database
|
The database is checked to verify that all the tables
and fields in tables are present when the opened. |
Do not delete Laneslips table used by reports
|
The Laneslips table is used by most of the reports.
This table is normally deleted when the reports are closed. This
will keep the table so that you can use Access 2000 to produce other
reports, if needed. |
Allow changing seed times in Best Times
|
The seed times are automatically calculated from past
results of meets completed. This will allow you to override these
seed values. Be aware that rebuilding best times will overwrite
these overrides. |
Allow changing of default values
|
The default values are found on the "Edit | Defaults" if
this is set on. |
Opening picture...
|
The background of WinSwim can be changed to any valid
picture file (i.e. jpg, gif, bmp). |
Reset defaults to original settings
|
The options are reset to default values. |
