Overview

This is the documentation for WinSwim 3.1.  If you are looking for the documentation for the 2.6 version, please click here.  It contains all the features necessary to handle the logistics of managing a swim team and running single, duel and championship meets.

Installing WinSwim

The first thing you do is download the software to your computer.  WinSwim is developed using Microsoft technology and allows you to create a database containing your swim team that is fully compatible with MS Access 2000.  All reports are created using Crystal Reports 8.5 which allows you to print to any type of printer and export the reports directly HTML, MS Excel, MS Word and other export formats.

WinSwim will automatically verify that your computer contains all the necessary support for Microsoft MDAC, Microsoft Jet 4.0, Microsoft Access 2000, Crystal Reports 8.5 and other necessary files are installed on your computer without need for you to find these later.

Reviewing WinSwim Sample Database

One of the first things you want to do is open the SAMPLE.MDB file provided in application installation folder and review some of the features available to you with WinSwim software.  The sample database contains multiple teams and completed meets that allow you to immediately start using WinSwim without need for setup to try out the features.

Open the Wizard and go through the easy steps for creating a new meet.  Create the entries, enter results and print ribbon labels in a matter of seconds.
