The best times are created by using the "File | Rebuild best times" from combining the events with the membership roster. This creates a record for each event for each eligible swimmer. This is used to create the results when you get to the "Meet | Create results" later when creating a meet. At the end of capturing the meet results you need to update the best times so the best time for a particular swimmer is posted to the deck cards for the next meet. You will update the times in the best times when you press the "Update" button on the results page. Note: You can rebuild the best times table from all meet results at any time by choosing the "File | Rebuild Best Times" menu item. This will search all meets with results applied, i.e. TimesUpdated = Yes, and reapply the results. Note: This table is updated and created automatically. You can change the "Participate" flag that when set to "No" will not create results used for creating deck cards and results by swimmers event. These flags are not persistent and will be reset to "Yes" if you rebuild best times as noted in the first note. |
